Junior Academy U8
Below is information on the new seasonal year, 2026/27.
We offer two Junior Academy training locations, East & West, to provide the best suited opportunities for our members. Players should choose the location that they will train at during the 2026/27 season. East – Harmony Sports Complex or West – HB Fuller Complex/King’s Way High School. When registering for placements, please be sure to pick the correct east/west program.
Who: Experienced players born August 1, 2018 and July 31, 2020 who are seeking a fun and comprehensive player development environment, and top local competition. (Those born between August 1, 2019 and July 31, 2020 would be playing up into the U8 division.)
What’s New for 2026/27: We’ve added additional training opportunities (optional 3rd day) including futsal training inside during the off-season (winter). There will also be an additional inter-squad jamboree during the summer taking place between our optional 3v3 tournaments.
Annual Club Fee: Player registration fees for the 2026/27 season are $995. All academy players are assessed a 5% field maintenance surcharge. Pricing does not include processing fee (processing fee is collected by a third party and does not go to Columbia Premier SC).
Additional Costs: Uniforms and tournament costs per team.
Training: 2x per week throughout the season with an optional 3rd day as well as winter training opportunities.
League Placement: OYSA U8 Development League for both Fall and Spring seasons- All games are on Sundays in 2 locations (Delta Park or Portland Christian).
Tournaments: U8 teams can participate in the events below.
- HB Fuller 3v3, June 8, 2025 (Optional, AGL led) (additional cost)
- Intersquad Jamboree – Sunday June 21st (cost included in registration fee)
- Harmony 3v3, July 19-20, 2025 (Optional, AGL led) (additional cost)
Other Sports: We encourage multi-sport participation; coaches and families should communicate to develop a plan that allows multi-sport athletes to participate in most soccer activities.

Who: Players born between August 1, 2016 and July 31, 2018 who are seeking a fun and comprehensive player development environment, and top local competition.
What’s New for 2026/27: We’ve added additional training opportunities including GK specific training and technical sessions with a professional technical trainer. There will also be an inter-squad jamboree during the summer.
Annual Club Fee: Player registration fees for the 2026/27 are $1295, plus a $120 tournament fee. All junior academy players are assessed a 5% field maintenance surcharge. Pricing does not include processing fee (processing fee is collected by a third party and does not go to Columbia Premier SC).
Additional Costs: Uniforms, travel, and additional tournament costs per team.
Training: 3x per week during Fall and Spring (3rd session optional); 2x per week during Summer and Winter (Winter training optional).
